”You’re Welcome”: Pride in Hull Returns for 2025 with Resilience and Unity

We’re really excited that Pride in Hull is returning on Saturday, 26th July, for what promises to be a colourful and heartfelt celebration under this year’s welcoming theme: “You’re Welcome.” Pride in Hull continues to be one of the country’s standout LGBTQIA+ events, deeply embedded in the spirit and strength of our local community.

Zebedee’s Yard will be the festival’s hub again, featuring headline acts like Queenz and Booty Luv/Big Brovaz, alongside a fantastic lineup of local talent. We’re particularly proud that Amy Bell, who won this year’s Pride Got Talent, will be performing on the main stage – showcasing the fresh voices that keep our community thriving.

The whole city transforms for the day. Queen Victoria Square becomes Trans Square, shining a light on trans experiences and voices. Families can enjoy inclusive activities at Ferens Art Gallery, and King Edward Street will host a bustling community market full of local artists, organisations, and makers.

The highlight is always the parade, starting at 11:00 am, as it winds its way through Hull’s city centre in a joyful and moving display of solidarity.

What makes Pride in Hull truly special is the safe and welcoming space we create for everyone. As the team behind Pride in Hull, we believe this year’s theme couldn’t be more fitting. It’s about standing together and lifting each other up – a celebration made possible by this incredible city and the amazing people who bring it to life.

We’re also gearing up to host the UK Pride Organisers’ Network Conference here in Hull from 17th to 19th October, welcoming fellow organisers from across the country.

While many UK Pride events have faced challenges recently, Pride in Hull has been able to continue thanks to our supportive local business community and the ongoing commitment of sponsors like KCOM and Reckitt, who remain our Platinum Prism Partners.

As we look forward to this day, our message is clear: in Hull, everyone really is welcome.
