Pride in Hull ‘remarkable tourism event’ finalist at REYTA awards

Pride in Hull has been shortlisted in the 10th annual REYTA awards in the category ‘remarkable tourism event’.

Matt Walton, Chair of Pride in Hull, said: “We ’re absolutely thrilled to be shortlisted alongside these incredible events that bring so much to the region. The diversity on the shortlist alone shows how vibrant and exciting this area is and how there’s something to be enjoyed by everyone.

“The team who make Pride in Hull happen do so out of a love for the event and a true belief in everything it stands for, giving their time and effort – alongside demanding day jobs – to make sure it is the glittering celebration the city deserves.

“We are often told by people from out of town who visit Pride in Hull that it is one of the Pride events that is most rooted in its city, that feels the most welcoming and inclusive and that has a personality all of its own.

“The people who make Pride in Hull what it is and create that atmosphere are the many thousands who come through the gates every year to enjoy a fun day that is accepting and open to all.”
