Following her brief love affair with the city of Hull, last year, Ongina returns as the trailblazing drag queen who first captured hearts on “RuPaul’s Drag Race,”and has since become a global icon, admired for her charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent. Her innovative approach to drag and unwavering advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights have earned her a devoted fan base. As she brings her awe-inspiring stage presence to Pride in Hull, attendees can expect a performance that celebrates individuality and self-expression.
Jamie Lewis, Chief Executive of Pride in Hull says: “You asked and we delivered. Ongina came to Hull last year to help us celebrate our 21st birthday. She was so popular that revellers requested that we bring her back again this year. Feeling the Yorkshire love, from across the Pond, Ongina agreed and we can’t wait to see her fabulous new act.
Tinchy Stryder, the multi-talented British rapper, singer, and songwriter, has a string of chart-topping hits and collaborations with industry heavyweights, Tinchy has made an indelible mark on the UK music scene.

Pride in Hull takes place on Saturday 29th July at various venues across Hull City Centre with the main stage at Zebedee’s Yard from 12:00-18:00.
