We are pleased to invite all LGBTQIA+ people, their families, friends and allies to visit us in our “Pop-In-Pride” pop-up venue. (Perhaps between visits to the Ferens Art Galleryand Humber Street Gallery!) To share experiences, thoughts and feedback of the Pride / LGBTQIA+ exhibitions. At the same time enjoy our Pride wall and Queer art in our safe space, join in a discussion, buy a pride wristband, listen to some music from our playlist or just enjoy the ambience. We’ve certainly missed hanging out together.OPENING TIMES:Friday 16th July – 10 am – 8 pm,Saturday 17th July – 10 am – 8 pm,Sunday 18th July – 10 am – 4 pm. Venue: Princess Quay, Level 2, HU1 2NL. We positively encourage intergenerational and intersectional story telling of LGBTQIA+ life. As a resource people may like to find out more about the scene in Hull and the wider community. The work of the many support groups or simply pick up a safer sex pack.There will be a “pride wall” on which people can add a comment about pride.Visibility is important and with so many flags and colours on display we hope that people are challenged to name them all. Discover something new and enjoy this inclusive space. Local LGBTQIA+ artists have been invited to submit examples of their work for display.Who’s popping in?!
